after many attempts and doing several projects from our maya book, i think this is the only thing i liked that i did with the maya program in the digital animation course, i did this scene in a couple of days. this is a scene that i used for my art portfolio video to open up with, a look at what goes on at a young animator's desk, not pleasant is it??? lol

Animation Blog #1

Here's some animation i did in the first year from my studies at a 2 year diploma course in Truro, NSCC Campus in Nova Scotia. I like these 2 animations because i really enjoyed working on them, they may not be great now, but i had alot of fun working on them back then.

the missle scene was 50 pages and i did it all in one night. I remember at the time, i was telling my fellow classmates that i wanted to animate this scene, they thought i was all nuts considering the projects and deadlines that we had to do, but i got er done though, i just skipped sleep for 2 weeks in order to get everything done at the end of the first year of Digital Animation.

well, this is my first entry of what i'm hoping will be the first of many more to come, whoo hoo. a good friend/former classmate has been asking if i had a blogspot, and at the time, i didn't, so i figured i start one. I have nothing new at the moment, so i figure for the time being, i show off alot of my old stuff, old animation and etc, to show how i started and how i got to where i am. On my time off away from Sheridan, i'm hoping to keep drawing and apllied what i learned, whatever that was, damn memory!!!! Oh well, Enjoy the glimpse of the madness that goes on inside my head
